:( Am not a PC geek so i don't know so much. I guess am ok with video cards but thats it. OK here are my specs. Please give suggestions and if theres is any compatible problems tell me TA.

PS: Should i buy it now or should i want for a specific component?

CPU: AMD ATHLON 64 X2 Dual-Core 4200+ (2.2GHz/2x512KB/0.09u/Manchester) (Will this be good for gaming and the long run?)

MotherBoard: Asus A8N-E nFORCE 4 ULTRA/HT1000/S939/4DDR/PCIEx/GIGALAN/RAID 0, 1/ATX (Will this support all the components?)

Mermory: Kingston KVR400X64C3AK2/1G Twin pack 1GB PC-3200 DDR 400Mhz Kit (2x512mb sticks) (Is this good for gaming?)

Video Card: Leadtek PX7800GT-TDHEXTREME Geforce7800GT Extreme Edition, 256MB GDDR3, PCI EXPRESS, Dual DVI, VIVO (I might get the 7800 GTX when the 7900 comes out.)

Hard Disk: Western Digital WD2500KS 250gb 7200rpm 16mb SATAII/300 (Is this hard disk fast enough?)

Opticial Drive: Liteon SHW-160P6S-OEM-BLACK 16x Dual Layer DVDRW, DVD+/- Dual Layer Recording, OEM, Black (Does this Burn, Reburn and play DVDS?)

TOTAL: $2,457.00 AUD...

Alot of questions but please help me out.. Thanks a bunch

PS!! .. Should i wait until some specific comes out THANKS!

Please give suggestions, you don't need to answer all my questions :( please i need to go soon.

all looks good. my usual question: are you interested in overclocking in the future? if that is the case then i would suggest either downgrading to the 3800+ and putting the extra money elsewhere or paying the extra for a 4400+ toledo. with the x2 range it doesn't take much skill to overclock to the speed of the higher models. i bought the 3800+ manchester and with stock cooling have it at the speed of the 4600+.

Doesn't look bad. But I agree with Nitestick. Go with the X2 3800 or Opteron 165 if overclocking. I would get the X2 4400 if you arn't gonna overclock.

About waiting: Definately wait for the G71 cards (7900GT/GTX). Even if you don't buy one of those, it should drive down the prices of the current 7 series cards. And they are just around the corner too (Mid march). It would be stupid not to wait. They should be reasonably priced too.

That looks nice but I would go for a better PSU. Maybe a OCZ Powerstream 520w or a Antec 550w.

I don't know id i will OC, I might in the future when it's strugling. Thanks for the comments, What price will the 7800 GTX be when the 7900 comes out? Ta, BTW i worried about the GF 8 because i dont want to upgrade within a year, or so.

BF2 Will thank you with 2gb of ram...I think it uses like 1.20 or somthing...also you probably wont have to upgrade ram for awhile becuase 4gb is overkill and the processor and mobo cant handle that much memory...if your looking for some good ram check out G.SKILL...if your OC....if not I guess some Corsair XMS will do :) Also What Im doing is I bought a 7800 Gt and that will hold me over till the G80...If I were going to buy a 7900, I would instead get a x1900xtx :) Also I heard 19" LCD Gaming dosent work out very well...I might be wrong but I dunno...Also Bill gates is right a Antec Truepower 550 is awsome, good relabile brand, and you cant beat its price..
