Fan question, help please.

Hey guys, atm I'm building a computer. But I'm having a problem, when I ordered some parts, on the phone some guy from newegg.com told me the FAN I was getting was NOT compatible with something I was getting. Here's what I'm getting:

At the moment thats it, I'm waiting for the Nvidia 7900 GTX to come out on March 9th. But could you help me out please? I don't know why the guy said the fan wasn't compatible. He said it was only compatible with PENTIUM, but I didn't tell him what processor i was buying, he just said there was an error with that fan. I don't get why, it says on its info its compatible with Athlon too. I was wondering, maybe its the Computer Case? Or is he wrong? should i change the fan or what? please help me, I don't know where the error is.

Was he talking about the Blue Orb? If so, it should be compatible...

Yeap he said there was an error with that fan not being compatible with one of the products I was getting. But I don't know why...

K8 is AMD. The guy has no idea what he is talking about.

That PCI express cable splitter is a bad idea. You are better off using the normal PCI express cord for one and use a 2x 4pin to pci express 6 pin for the second card.

im guessing he was talking about the cpu fan which should be compatible with your cpu

Yes, it may come with the card. Make sure you use two different 4 pins from the PSU that are not split.

As far as your ASUS A8N SLI Premium goes... I've seen zalman 7700's on them, so the BLUE ORB will certanly fit.
