I need a good Server OS (IIS) Perferred

I am looking for a good server OS which I can use IIS to host my website.

Currently I'm using XP Pro and it is not a server OS. The windows 2003 server is too expensive for me.

Can anyone give me some advices?

I need something that can host multiple websites with no connection limits and secure.

Yeah, I found lots security holes and allows only 5 connections at a time (therefore, I get an error page saying "Too many ppl is accessing the website" alot).

Have you thought about hosting it on a Linux box?

Yeah, w2k server will be my next choice if I can't get hold of 2003 server.
But I'm not sure the difference between 2000 and 2003.

I already have a website is written in ASP. so IIS supports .Net and ASP. Therefore, I pick windows server OS.
