From what i see
6800nU-only handicap to 6800gs is ddr memory
6800xt-its the 8 pipelines, but has ddr3 memory.

both cards have 256mb and are 256bit. So which one is better. I can't get a g80. Heck, i can't even afford the upcoming g71.

Then when the G80 comes out dont get it either becuase there will be better a half a year after that.

Dont play the waiting game with video cards.........its useless.

I thought you would know what your company of all people is doing




Google it, you will have only emulation unless you get a G80 it's best not to get anything at all or get low end to hold you over till it is released.

yea... i agree, heck.. u can even get the 6600Gt if u wanted to, but thas as low as a low end card i would recommend.

Yeah im using the stepup program to get the 7900 when it comes out. The G80 is still 6 months away so I'll have plenty of money to get one by then.

how does 2 6600gt sound

i own 1 6600gt now is it worth getting another and sli them and wait till vista comes out and then take the plunge on a upgrade what ya think?
