You'll need to shell out at least $900-$1000 IMO for a lower end gaming rig. Maybe $800 if you got a 6600GT, value RAM and a 3000+.

ROFL!, for 200 - 400 pounds you can't play any NEW games. Dude!, you need to keep up to date with these products. You will need atleast 800-1000 for a nice gaming rig.

i already built one at £1000+ . And i have a laptop £1000+
i just want to build a cheap pc tht i can do little things on, i wont be playing like the best of games , but if i do i will just upgrade my graphix card.

ok check out the topic called "building pc, $1000 budget, me= noob" topic in this forum. i just posted a pretty good gaming build for about $725-$940. should help a little. not really sure what the conversion rate is between usd and pounds but ya know. ill build a decent multitasking comp real quick and post it here.
