DVD ROM Drive problem

I couldnt find another topic quite like this one so here goes. I have two DVD drives. They both power up fine but they arent recognized under my computer. I get this message trying to install them through Add Hardware:


Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)


Help would be appreciated.

Uninstall, then install the right drivers.
Make sure your jumper settings are correct.

I downloaded the firmware for it but it says that I cant use it because no drives were detected. All the jumpers are right and everything is plugged in right.

Can you try to install just one of them first.
It that works then you can try to install the second one.
