i just recieved my p4c800e mb p4 3.4 in the mail today. i took out my old board and
installed this one. upon installation i did not reload windowsxp for i set
all windows drivers before i installed new board. win xp loaded up fine. i
installed all new drivers for motherboard from cd. I went to install asus
probe and at the installation screen my pc lost power. But, the green led
on the mother board as well as the ethernet lights stayed on. My front
switch would not turn the cpu on until i reset the main switch on the back
of my tower. I thought to my self then, i would go ahead and reload
windows, but to my dismay the pc shut off again just before my win xp cd
prompted me to select to install windows xp. And it shuts off pretty much
the same place everytime. As well it shuts down when trying to run a game.
But windows loads fine and i get get on the internet just i cant run much.
Please Help Urgent! Board cost me 970 $ ps 450 watt ps with all pins and connectors, sapphire 9800xt, 1024pc3200ddr400
