graphical glitches

When i boot up everything displays fine. After about 2 minutes the display messes up, it shows tiny little dots everywhere the dots change colour according to what colour background is on the display.

I have tried changing monitor - no luck
uninstalling graphics card and drivers/software - no luck
taking out recently installed extra RAM stick - no luck

could this be a sotware problem? should I do a new install of windows?, any suggestions greatly appreciated.

sounds like it might be old drivers..or drivers conflicting with somthing...either that or the card is going bad and artifacting on you

Sounds your graphics card is on the way out.

If you can get software to monitor the temperature (as i know some newer cards can) then try that or open up your case and physically test it yourself. Could have well overheated itself as i seen one yesterday with exactly the same problem.
