This is my works computer:

AMD64 (2Ghz) processor - (1600 FSB)
1 WD 80gig 7200 rpm hdd
2 maxtor 200gig SATA hard drives
3x 512MB PC 2700 (333 Mhz) DDR RAM
ATI Radeon 9600 All-In Wonder XT AGP 4x/8x vid cards w/ dual VGA display
2 17" LCD flat panel monitors
2 cd/dvd drives, speakers, mic
400W PSU (extra back case fan included)
hard drives are equipped with fans

This is my computer at work and it randomly restarts. I used Speedfan and it said the temp was 38C and it stayed constant most of the time. Any suggestions? I just reformatted Windows so its not software related...

First thing i'd try, take out two RAM sticks and alternate the 3 you have to see if one of them is causing the issue.

If that fails, unplug all devices (cdroms, modems, sound cards etc) and try again.

Post results.

I agree with Splatoid, it's most likely PSU issue. I had teh same problem, I went into my BIOS and looked under the Hardware Monitor where you can view your PC temps and voltages and sure enough one of the voltages was flashing from green to red which indicated a problem. Replaced the PSU And have not had any issues.

Other then that, make sure you scan for any trojans/viruses etc, quite a few of them cause reboots.

Hope this helps
