We are relocating from the USA to the UK later this year and I am trying to determine what I can and cannot take with me because of power supply issues.
I am reluctant to get rid of anything that I can keep as the cost of replacing it is so much more expensive in the UK than here in the States.
Does anyone know the likelihood of the following pieces of hardware working in the UK on a 240v circuit. I am more than happy to purchase a volatage convertor and adaptor to make the switch.
1 - Apple Cinema Display Monitor
2 - HP Photosmart Printer
3 - HP Scanner
I know my laptop works without a transformer as it has one built directly into the power cord.
Has anyone ever shipped a desktop over there?
