Finally upgrading my Dell!

I can get what i have now to play Fear but its only about 15 fps or less. i dont mind if its on all low settings that's what i grew up with.

hey you think my dell sucks look at my friend tyler's HP

OLD celeron 1.8ghz
256mb RAM
integrated sound and graphics and he tried to play COD on it LOL!

i also accidentally fried his mobo and he's mad.

That hp still dosn't beat MY old HP:

1.7ghz celeron
128mb shared pc2100 ddr266 ram
onboard intel extreme graphics
onboard sound
only pci slots

God that thing sucked. I tried to play UT2003 on it. I later upgraded it to 384mb of ram and a pci 9200se.

Well, if you've got the $190, even though the others are right, about saving money and building a new system... you could always look at it as a learning experience. Which is worth a lot more then $190, IMO.

Do it! It's not very much money for the knowledge you get out of it.

I've changed some things but i have a question about the PSU and mobo. the PSU (come with case) has a 24-pin main power connector and the mobo only has a 20-pin will it work if i just have the other 4 pins just hanging off the side?

i just need this to last me until about september and it's more of a birthday gift from my dad and not really my money so it's either this or nothing, so i think im gonna go with this.

oh and 1 more question do you think this will be able to play oblivion on all low settings? i dont mind them all being on low cause that's what i run my games on now.
