Im wondering htough.. what exactly is core clock and memory clock? Which one is more important? Should i keep that about equal on the bars that you can adjust?
The core clock is the speed of the GPU and the memory clock is the one that controls the memory speeds, just like the CPU/RAM, except on the video card.
Do each one at a time, and stress test it to make sure it doesn't have erros. Max out the core until you get artifacts. Bump it back a few mhz for permanent use. Max out the ram until you get artifacts, then bump it back a few mhz too.
rivatuner is good if your just learning to overclock.....its simple and easy to use...fairly straight forward...and it warns you when you are going over the cards limits...
i have used rivatuner but at the moment im using nVidia's inbuilt overclocking software
