Please Help me

A couple of questions here everytime i start up internet explorer something keeps changing my homepage I ran ad aware as well as spybot search and destroy and im still left with the same problem and there is a link to some random site when i right click anywhere on internet explorer, i would also like to remove that. I ran a program to clean up IE and i guess it deleted some options in my Start menu it removed Shut Down and the Run options in the start menu i use windows 98 if anyone knows how to help me that would be outstanding thanks.

Run a virus scanner too. I had the same problem and the anti-virus caught one that ran on startup and changed my homepage.

Man if someone comes on saying there homepage was changed you might as well say your addicted to porn lol. Also get it off your registry, and run anti virus.

Porn sites don't do anything to your computer unless you let them, have a good time with your porn sites just dont download anything off of them except the delicious pictures and videos!

Pornography will corrupt the people they let it corrupt. I have a strong mind, strong will. Nothing changes me unless I want it too. People that complain porn, violence on TV, violence on video games etc are weak, and should do a better job raising their kid. They think that if their kid rapes or kills someone they can just blame it on TV or porn and everyone will be yea your right poor kid, DAMN you TV and pornographers! If your kid is screwed up itÂ’s YOUR fault, YOU raised them. DonÂ’t put the blame on anyone else.

Ive had this b4, and it was porn related, but not by viewing porn sites. It was one of the rare times I was using IE while going to crack sites. but thats almost like going to porn sites.

ofc ie began to reset homepage on every restart of IE . Even better it was to some site related to incest. did a quick look with http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml , found and removed the problem, so if u r still having the issue, its worth a shot. More or a msconfig on steroids.

Also the startup monitor isnt a bad idea either.

Funny how us americans view sexuality in general. Good clean violence is fine, but sex is taboo. I have to say Im with the europeans on this one. Nudity? who cares.

And ScarabsDemon, consider a change of browser, most of these exploit IE vulnerabilities, and will have minimal impact on Opera or Firefox.
