My buddy has a new pc with a msi motherboard, amd 3500+ and some times when he turns his pc on, there is no display, all the lights are on, no odd beeps. When he turns it off, changes the PCI slot the graphic card is in, 1-20 trys it will start and run just fine. we cant figure it out.

we have all the new drivers

Any help?

Maybe the graphics card or motherboard is defective, the two might not able to make proper contact in the slot.

well it works some times, and when it does it works fine, he just messed around with his ram and it turned on, so we're still working on figuring it out..
