What is up with the pci versions?

im stuck - I know that pci1 and 2.1 look the same but i don't know which one my computer has!

can anyone post the verion or the date of version for:

Compaq Deskpro EN SFF - PII 350

or just some help that may help me decide wot video card to get.

Thanx

c'mon now, its a pII 350Mhz, what version do you think you have?....honestly? i think you need more than just a new video card.....

lol, yeah i know but can't get a new comp until i get a job so for now i will make do with my P2, so do you reckon its 2.1?

i was trying to hint to you since your computer is old you probably have the older standard of PCI which i assume is 1.x, not 2.1

PCI 32bits bus runs 33MHz and able access up to 4GB of memory. It has 124-pin connection. Support PnP , bus mastering , and burst mode.
PCI 64bits bus run at clock speeds of 33MHz and 66MHz and has a throughput rate of up to 133 Mbps and allows a 64bit PCI bus to access up to 17 billion gigabytes of memory space. 64bits using 188-pin connection
