I already had a post on motherboards 2 weeks ago, but I only used that, because it helped me to find the area of board i should search through. Now I have made myself a list that shows all motherboards that have the features that I want. I would like you to help me chose!

ASUS A8N-SLI Premium

MSI K8N Diamond Plus (little expensive)

DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR Expert

I hope you can give me some advice. Thanks. :)

DFI, Not only are they very stable boards and the best Overclocking boards ever, They have the best customer support.

Like www.dfi-street.com if you have any problems they'll know the answer and solution.

DFI..hands down

I have as you can see an AMD 3700+. It is said that this cpu is very good for overclocking. So I would want to overclock, but i also want the possibility of going SLI or maybe upgrade my processor to a x2, but i don't know if that is necassary. I want to have good upgrade possibilities, because the board I have know only has 2 ddr ram slots and only supports amd athlon 64 or sempron. That sucks. I am stuck with amd 64 while the computer market moves on to dual core cpus, 4 gbs of ram and other upgrades that are necassary in the future.

So, I should go DFI even the board I chose costs a little bit???

I heard that you could buy the nonSLI board with all the other features of this board and mod it to SLI. Is that safe? I don't really want to buy a board and ruin it before I used it.

if you want sli,0or the possibility to in the future, go with the msi, that has full x16 support. i hear that asus board was rushed too fast and has alot of bugs. if you go with the dfi, i wouldnt risk patching it, soudns a bit iffy.
tho i did almost get a dfi simply cause of their box =-D

DFI also makes the other mobo that already has SLI standard. I don't know, all my friend tell me to go DFI, cause its a good overclocking board, but on the other side in want to have SLI. Do you think the SLI board made by DFI will work?
