connecting 6800GS to High Definition

do i need special cables to connect to hd? and should i use s-video + the other 3 componet cables? thanks

First of all, all the cables you need are the ones that connect to your monitor(s).

Your harddrive does not need to be connected to your video card, where did you get that crazy idea? Read the instructions manual, and BTW. The only thing the video card needs is a 12v power from the PSU.

If it came w/ a break out box (or just RGB cables), connect the R,G,B cables to the TV. Then go into the drivers to turn the secondary display on.

The S video is one display and does not give high enouph resolution to read anything on the TV.

just use your component cables cuz they're newer...they're design to take advantage of HDTV and your high def tv has component inputs

s-video and composite are old
