yeah all the socket A mobos have AGP. PCI-E didnt start to come until socket 754. This is a really good mobo with pci express and it would be a good match with a sempron if you wanted to get a sempron.

Alright, took all the suggestions and well I'm going to not accept my frien'ds computer. I looked through my email and saw a tigerdirect sale advertisement.

This caught my eye...

If all the rebates go through, I spend a total of a 230 dollars and considering I can take out the hard drive and sound card from my other cpu, it sounds like a great deal. What do you guys think?

First off, don't count on tigerdirect's rebates. People have said that they never return the money and if they do ti will be like a year later. I say dont ever deal with rebates unless you are willing to pay the full price anyway and the rebate is just a bonus, but if you are buying the product just for the rebate then dont count on it. I like that barebone, Nice case, pretty good mobo, not sure about the cpu since AMD hasn't made a Sempron 3300+ for socket A, but it could just be a mistake. IMHO just save up your money to get a socket 939 athlon 64 and just keep your p4 1.8. I say go sempron 64 or socket 939 athlon. Socket A is dead man, It isn't future proof. If you want sempron get a socket 754 one.

BTW: why not just get the videocard at newegg.com it is more reliable and you will most likely get your rebate back.

over all if you actually gte those rebates back then that would be a good deal. Just stick a gig of ram on it and it wouldn't be bad.

yeh, once again biglyliupdamidl, your words of wisdom are accepted heh. I took from you and my computer buddies and in sum, if I bought this computer I would be only saving 100-150 dollars from buying a better system, but be losing in the long run in the future. Going to start saving up now and well by summer I think I'll have it. Will find this exact thread if it still exists in the summer heh and will post pics of it. Thank you all for your advice!
