help Please!! IDE Cables

Hey guys well i just got a new case and im ready to go from the **** ribbon cables to IDE I was wondering first does Frys sell them? 2nd can i use one for my Sound Card because i have a ribbon cable going from my XI FI sound card to my receiver unit under my DVD/RW drive...

let me try to understand this u want to go from the ribbon cables to the round ide cables?

^^ Thats what I understood from it, and in which case, it will work.

IDE round cables and the ribbon type are the same thing but one is ribbon and one is round The round ones are rather cheap only like 5-15 dallors for set of them but round cables also offer better airflow within the system so which could lead to better cooling temps and more OCing! (BTW clean up your PSU wires for better airflow )
