Just added a new hard drive

But for some reason it can't be seen by "My Computer" in Windows XP. It can be seen by BIOS and in Windows under device manager and add hardware sections, but not my computer. What gives?! Do I need to format it in BIOS since I can't access it in Windows or do I need to reconnect the drive on another serial port? Btw I'm using SATA so there are no master/slave jumpers. Also my board supports RAID so I'm messing with BIOS to see if that helps but so far nothing works.

Right click my computer>>manage

Click on disk management. Once in there, give that drive a partition. Once complete, you will then see it in my computer. You must then format it.
