windows vista requirments

Does anyone know when Windows Vista will be release? seems exciting with all the features.
Also, what are system reqirements? Do you think today's computer are able to upgrade?

I have a 2004 P4 530 HT/ 1GB of memory/ 200GB hard drive/ Ati 128 grapics/win xp.

should do fine with that setup. they havn't been too specific on the minimum system requirements. I hear vista will release in october sometime

As I have said in other threads, Microsoft has to take into account that most people use low-end basic emachines or dell systems that average 256MB of RAM, 40GB hard drive, Integrated graphics, Celeron processor. You will be fine.
