Go DFI for your motherboard, and like others have said, if your not OCing, stick with value select.

I don't like the case personally, but that's up to you.

For your CPU, go with the Athlon 64 X2 3800+ and OC it to Athlon 64 X2 4200+ speeds (very easy and save a lot of cash), or spend the extra cash and buy an Athlon 64 X2 4400+ and OC it to Athlon 64 X2 4800+ speeds.

I used to be an ATI fanboy (loved their 8000 and 9000 series during their proper times). But recently, they've been piissing me off, especially with their over-priced x1900s. I'm REALLY uncomfortable with the idea of having a master and slave card with the whole crossfire thing. Just get the 7800GTX instead.

Are you serious? The X1900XT can easily be OC'd to the X1900XTX by a 25 or 50mhz OC, saving you almost $100 off the top for a price of less than $550. The X1900XT murders the 7800 series cards, and if it ever gets beaten it's because the game is unfairly optimized for Nvidia. Anyway, it's at least $100 cheaper than it's Nvidia "counterpart" the 7800GTX 512, and it's better in performance ... What more do you want?

seconded.

not to mention 7800GTX 512's are insanely hard to find.
