Getting Rid of picture

I'm currently stationed in Iraq, and we have an internet cafe. Somebody put this very annoying animated picture on the desktop. The picture is animated, a cat is holding a gun and firing it non-stop. I tried going to settings and playing around with desktop appearances, but it does not make picture go away. Nobody in the cafe has idea how to get rid of it, please help, I'm sure it's a simple solution.

display properties / desktop - set to "none".

Or... Find a picture you wish to you use. Right click the picture and select "set as desktop background"

I tried that but it does nothing to the picture, it seems like perhaps some program is running over the desktop.

Do you have administrative rights on this machine?

Go to:

Diplay Properties / Desktop (Tab) / Customize Desktop.
Select the "Web" tab. Make sure you don't have anything checked in that box.

You can also try changing the Theme, and see what that does.

Thank you it worked, a web image was checked. Very simple solution to a problem that annoyed me and several others, I saw a couple of others trying to get rid of it by going to properties themes.
