Hi there,
I just bought a brand new computer (Compaq)
Specifications:
Compaq Presario
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3400+
984Mhz, 448 MB RAM
Basically this is exactly what I did to install the sound card
- Plug it in the computer
- Installed the drivers and the 'Patchmix'
- Restart the computer and then the patchmix loads up fine.
- After a while, the patchmix will not werk at all and every time I load up Cubase, or simply open the Patchmix, I get a error message, it is really frustrating.
- I am not sure but I think this might be caused by some other inner conflict in the computer; Everytime I start up my windows, all the icons on the bottom right of the screen do not load up and everything is blocked up, the only way to continue the start up process is to press (CTRL ALT DEL) and go into task manager and to end process EXPLORER.exe then to reopen in and then it works fine, I found that to solve this problem, I went to selective start up and unticked LOAD START UP FILES, this seems to work but it sometimes blocks once in a while.
Could someone please help me with this problem, I am not sure what is wrong with the sound card... I have also downloaded the new drivers for it but nothing..
