odd noise

My comp started making funny noises totally randomly, like some sort of
”prompt” but no error message or anything to let me know what this f’ing noise is.
Well duh, itÂ’s the noise that the computer makes when you ad or remove a peripheral, attached via usb cable.
Ok but why? And which port.
I pulled out all my usbÂ’s blasted all the ports w/ air duster so well see what happens.
When im playing a game, it freezes for a split second, not bad but enough.
I think it may have been my mouse (pulling out just enough)
Has this happened to anyone else?
Any other ideas?
Like I said its random, so ill have to wait awhile to see if it keeps happening

I had that same problem when i was playing UT 2003 and it would screw me up every time.Im quite sure i had to get another mouse, but it was a couple of years ago and im not sure im remembering correctly on what i had to do. If i remember more ill post back as soon as i do. So you pluged the mouse into another slot huh?

yeah it sucks.
i did try another slot after my fist post, but it did it again.
it has to be the mouse becase its the only one that made that sound when i took it out
