Quick question: On newegg, what's the diff. between retail and OEM hard drives, I read somewhere that OEM doesn't come with cables or anything? Anyone order a hard drive off newegg before?

I'd recommend a raid zero by getting the same drive you already have but i'm not a Maxtor fan. Between WD and seagate, i'd go seagate.

i have a maxtor that is a few years old, no problems, good, reliable, good speeds. Im gonna get cussed at but i say that cheap maxtor.

OEM basically means the drive is all you'll get. basically you'll get the hdd in an anti-static bag and nothing else. same with dvd-drives etc.
