I can't erase a folder icon!!

Hi, everyone...
this is a folder I made to keep some documents somebody emailed me, and now I cannot delete it from my desktop, or rename it, or move it or anything. It tells me "Cannot read from source file". What can I do? The folder is empty and everything!
Please help me !

Hit F5 to refresh

If it's still there right click and de-select read only

Lastly check for spyware.

Thanks, I already refreshed, nd it's not marked as read only, and I already ran all my spyware software... what other choices do I have?

When you try to erase does it give you an error saying that it cant erase due to the fact the the folder is being accesed by another application?

If so restart your PC and then erase it. I have that happen to me sometimes when i am moving files from one folder to another. Then i try to erase the empty folder i jsut moved everything from. I jsut restart and i can erase it no problem.
