7800gt is just about 90 bucks more than 6800GS, and it provides much better performance than 6800GS, and i don't think it is problem from one to get DX9 card, because dx10 games will not be released before a year from now, and 7800gt will able to run dx10 games, but it will run on dx9 mode
ok what the h3ll is dx10? lol. ive got a 1500 budget. so ill look and see if i can get a dual core cpu. thanks for your advice. o and um whats wrong with the 4200, the 4000 isnt dual core.
ok i added everything up (mouse, keyboard speakers, sound card, etc.) and it comes up to just over 2000. hope my parents will get it for me. anyways i went over to my friends house because he just go the new fx-60 in. we installed it and started playing some games. HOLY SH1T! that thing is a beast even with a 6800gs, it runs games like a dream.
