Hey
I need help deciding between these duel core processors.
I know the x2 3800 has 128 + 128kb L1 cache but only 2x 512 L2 cache.
Whereas the opteron 165 has 64 + 64kb L1 cache but 2x1mb L2 cache
But also the x2 4400 has 128 + 128kb L1 cache and 2x1mb L2 cache.
I'm looking for the best bang for buck duel core processor. I've pritty much narrowed it down to these but i can't decide because i don't know how much the extra cache effects performence. So shall i go for the opteron 165 with less L1 cache but more L2 cache and more OC potentional. Or the x2 3800 with more L1 cache and less L2 cache and less OC potentional. Or x2 4400 with lots of L1 cache and lots of L2 cache. So all i really need is sommin to tell me the differences between the higher cache.
