Yeah I was just about to say... That won't work.
Get this motherboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813138268

And you can keep that same CPU.

Hmm. You really must be new to this. That video card is not a video card. It's a DVD maker card, whatever that is. It dosn't even have any D-SUB or DVI connectors. Get this video card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102001
Also, that case is no good. The power supply that comes with it sucks and will probably kill all your parts. If you really like that case then just forget about the power supply that comes with it and get this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104901

Everything else is OK.

BTW, if you want to save some money, just don't get a seperate video card. The motherboard I suggested has onboard GeForce 6100 graphics. This will be fine for almost anything but gaming.

lol i am new to this... im really good with xbox modding and all that..(actually have a modding business) but when it comes to computers... im fairly new...and is there any mobos that come with onboard video?

This mb is refurbished, but I bought an Asus board from them refurbished and have had no problem with it. It has onboard video too. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813138240R or the one 003 suggested is only $43 refurbished http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813138264R
This cpu is the 2600+ and it's $5 cheaper than the one you posted but the 2500+ does have more L2 cache. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819104249
And the total cost isn't much more than you originally wanted to spend.

Woofis was looking for something cheap so I found a refurbished mb like the one you posted that is ut $26 cheaper, which was the 2nd link I posted

Yes, but mine also has onboard video, so if you subtract the price of the video card it's actually cheaper.

ok.. thanks alot guys.. you've been a great help so far... cleared alot of things up for me...i will look over these things and see the total price difference..(i dont think it will be that much different) and do you really recommend a new psu... is it really necessery? if so i will buy that too. haha

I posted the wrong link earlier, the first one did not in fact have onboard video. But I would have to go with 003 on this one, but go with the refurbished one.

If you have enough money, i wouldnt get refurbished. There is a warning when you buy refurbished parts that says you should only get them if you are an experienced user and you know what you are doing, not to just get a good deal. And if you get a refurbished motherboard, it will be OEM, it wont have any of the parts that come with it, just the motherboard alone. And you need a lot of the cables that it comes with.

yea i know, im not getting a refurb.. id rather pay a little more for a new than have problems downt he road with a refurb.

EDIT: the total ended up being 396.52 with tax and shipping... shipping is friggn 40 bux though... thats so stupid theres no combine shipping with newegg... any1 know of any codes or coupons that will cut down the shipping charges?
