OMG, my sound

my new rig, (dfi nf4 lanparty mobo) won't produce any sound at all. I've updaded the drivers but they won't work. Anybody can help? PLZ

how do you enable sound in bios

look through the options. i know its in one of the options on the left but i cant remember which one . in case you're not sure to get into BIOS on that board hit DEL while at the lanparty NF4 logo.

it's enabled in bios but the sound still doesn't work... does it mean that i've just pourer 1200 into my computer for nothing!!!

thats strange :O so you've installed all the drivers from the cd? chipset etc? now for the insulting question: is it muted? check your speakers with something else just to be sure that its not your speakers at fault. what operating system are you using?

is it onboard (integrated into motherboard) or seperate PCI?

on the lanparty its a module that connects to the motherboard by header pins.
