Can't say I agree with the PSU or motherboard. You can get much better bang for your buck. Think about the DFI Ultra-D motherboard.

What was attractive about the MSI Diamond was its SLI X16 support. Instead of x8 single card and x8/x8 double card, it gets x16 single and x16/x16 double. Is that not a huge preformance difference? If its not im all for saving a few bucks.
EDIE:: That and its heat pipe
And what about the PSU?

thanks for the input, ill definetly look into it, but it would be great if you guys could give your opinion on why you think i should get y over x.

I just got through using the NZXT Lexa for my new build and I'm glad I did. It was easy to work with, had no problem hiding wires, and has great stock cooling. Also to note, it looks gorgeous. Your build looks great, but the only thing I'd suggest is getting an Opteron equilivent of that CPU for overclocking.

dont drop the raptor. if you can get a 150gb raptor and 250gb 7200rpm hard drive. or 160gb or 120gb but nothin to small if your a serious gamer.
