I do not think i am getting any Windows Updates because when I run Windows Updates (manually), the Windows Validation (Authentication) tool says it is not valid.
I got this laptop w/ the XP Operating System already on it, and the friend i got it from can not find the XP CD w/ the Prod. key on it.
A while back someone briefly explained to me a way to Authenticate it (I think) through the registry...and they gave me a phone number to Microsoft i had to call and ......etx. Don't remember the details!!
Is there a way to Authenticate it??
