video card, lack of power to it

I finally got my computer hooked up and checking everything out, i went online and downloaded the driver from nvidia on my 6800 gs video card. i restarted and now i get a not suffeciant power to the video card. i have a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129155 case (it came with a antec 450 watt power supply) i run a 3500 amd athlon cpu with a k8n neo4 mobo, 120 g w. hdd, 2 cd's and a floppy, any suggestions (btw i have the fan on low)

eh... In theory, it should probably have plenty of power... Make sure your video card is seated all the way or you have plugged in the additional power attachment located near the top edge of the card usually.

i'm pretty much echoing here. check that the 6 pin auxiliary power for the card is plugged in.

i unplugged the power source to card and in again and it works fine, i dont know maybe i just didnt have it in all the way. thanks very much for your help
