microsoft works 8 no default printer msg

Hi I am using microsoft works 8.0 with windows xp- home. when I try to print from spread sheets in microsoft works I get an error message saying there is no default printer. I have reloaded the drivers
on my HP Deskjet 3845,I have gone to HP WEb site and verified I have latest drivers. The 3845 is set up as
as default printer. It works well for all other print jobs except spread sheets. Does any one have any suggestions?
 
have you tried other office programs?

openoffice.org has a free office suite, created by sun microsystems.

Thank you for your response. Yes It works well for all other print jobs except spread sheets.

You need to put the Printer in the ini file for this application. And if the printer is already in the INI file... lower the print resolution.
