Better OS For Gaming?

I would say Pro. I have used it now for over 2 years with my gaming and i have never come across a problem. While Home doesnt have all the features of Pro.

I have Pro on all of my capable computers, not a single problem for gaming or anything else.

Gaming doesn't matter whether you use Home or Pro. They both are the same OS as far as games are concerned. Pro just gives you a bit more customizability so you have more tweaking options which in turn could increase gaming performance.

XP pro, Havent had any major issues with it except the occasional lockup which is normal other than that no problem. But As Beedubaya says doesn't really matter same difference really

i have to disagre with you guys...

windows 2000 is still fairly recent, and uses way less memory. Windows XP hogs the memory for the OS, so you have none left for gaming.

XP Pro has more tweaks to it than Home edition. I have professional on my computer and have no problems.

depending on the memory of the computer.

most games take up 256 MB of memory now, so thats now much left for windows.

however i dont do gaming, for that reason.
