Intels actually are really good when it comes to calculations, but for pure gaming... AMD def I payed 60euros for my sempron 64but 3100. so

Well, the boys up top pretty much pointed out exactly what the specs were. The celeron dominates... I think it'll do better for gaming either way.

Celeron D. 2.93GHz, 256K cache 533Mz fsb, pc2700 DDR standard.

Duron. 1.8GHz 64K cache, 266MHz fsb, pc2100 DDR standard.

I'd go with the Celeron.

EDIT: The Celeron also runs cooler than the Duron and has a much better stock hs/f. The CPU itself is also a lot more durable.

if you are limited to only these two systems, then the celeron might even be better for gameing...

the duron would be comparable to a celeron @ 2.8Ghz...
