OK so should I be moving in another direction with this? if USB is going to limit my speed and not allow me to maximize the transfer speed, should I be looking at other options (firewire, ethernet,etc)?
Or, and I really hate to ask this, should I not use the Dothan for this and get/build another system with another CPU and run the drives on that? Would the gains in speed be wirth the extra costs? TIA
