overclocking a stock p4 640 ht

i was wondering if anyone knows how much (reasonably) to oc my p4 assuming i have a multiplier of 10,what should my fsb speed in mhz be? or how much should i raise it by? (i dont feel im advanced enough to be on the overclocking threads, still a newb

Well, you could always try overclocking it and see how far it goes without raising the voltage. That way you can be certain that the temp isn't going to go up.

brought it up about 3mhz, takin it step by step just need some concrete info on how far i can take this piece, at about 3.25ghz right now

I have mine up to 3.52. I haven't run any stability tests, but since I've been converting some video files and using 100% CPU for the last 3 days with out a problem its looks fine to me. After I'm done with that I'm going to try 3.6.
