Hey, does anyone know the best monitor I can get from newegg.com for under $235, and refresh rate is a factor since im a gamer. dvi prefered.

Yeah, but that monitor only has a 12ms response time, so would it be able to keep up with my x1900xt without gohsting?

it is not "cheap". My friend and my dad use the same monitor, and its really crisp color, good resolution, and space-saving.

Go to the LCD section of NewEgg and have it sort the items by price. Then start picking through them. I assume you've done some research one what the aspects of monitors are (such as dot-pitch, contrast, view angle, etc), so you should be able to see how high you can go till you reach your price.

LCD means liquid crystal display....it is ideal for business use and it consumes very very low voltages.......however if u need for gaming....i recommend you to buy a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) the ones present in 4:3 PAN tv sets....its quality is best...tho is consumes much power
