DFI or MSI for a first-timer?

DFI's are the best for overclocking, but put it this way, I can get my Athlon so far up to 2.83 GHz windows stable with shitty ram.

The MSI K8N neo4 Platinum board on newegg says "The mainboard BIOS provides "Plug & Play" BIOS which detects the peripheral devices and expansion cards of the board automatically"

Dose the DFI Ultra-D have this feature? And If not how hard is it to do it manually?

Well, I think I'm going to go for the Neo4 Platinum. I'm going to have a new thread up with my proposed build in a bit. I'd appreciate all of your input once that's up.

Ah, looks like NewEgg is actually out of stock of the Neo4 Platinum. I'm going to be ordering this build sometime this week (most likely tomorrow) and the MSI isn't back in stock until the 13th.

But does the MSI board have those cool UV painted slots?

lol...what's sad is that was the deal breaker for me.
