So Ati 1900 have PixelPipelines 16(48 pixel shader processors)
and 7900GTX probobly will have 32

So you think new geforce going to pwn Ati? I just looking on Ati "48 pixel shader processors" and thinking if the 7900GTX going to bet it...

Things aren't looking too good for ATI, if the R580 doesn't at least counter or perform around the same ballpark as the G71, because ATI's next video card, the R600 isn't due out until Q4 at the earliest. My guess is that Nvidia will hold the video card crown after the G71 is released and follow up with a strong hold with the G80 until Q4.

Pixel Shader Processors are not Pixel Pipelines. The X1900 has 16 pipes, flat. The 7900GTX has twice that.

So I guess better get now some thing like

Geforce 7800GT 256MB For about 300$
or Geforce 7800GTX 256MB For about 454$

So to have still a pretty good card (for new games etc).. That going to last at list some time (I mean 7900.. probobly will be pricy)

Then geting ATI new card.

the X1900 has 16 pipelines that are supposed to do 3 times the work as their previous cards. but there isn't all that much difference between it and the X1800.

right now, the X1900 is the fastest card on the market. however it won't be for long though. Nvidia has yet to release 2 cards
personally I'd say wait a bit for at least the G71 (Geforce 7900, should be released pretty shortly) or if you're patient, wait for the G80 (Geforce 8800, should be released in 2-4 months)
