Upgrading my processor. Will my motherboard support it?

I've never upgraded a processor before so am mostly clueless when ti comes to this. I have a Pentium 4 1.9 GHz processor and an Intel D845HV motherboard. I'd like to upgrade my processor to one that is 3.0+ GHz, but am not sure if those would be compatible with my motherboard. Intel websites seem to suggest not:

"The Intel® Desktop Board D845HV supports a single Intel® Pentium® 4 processor or Intel® Celeron® processor with a system bus frequency of 400 MHz." And the latest Pentium 4's have higher bus frequencies than that, but I am not educated on the significance or meaning of such things.

Can anyone clarify this for me? If not, what's the highest power processor available for my board? Thanks a lot.:D

Yes...runs at max 400Mhz FSB. you won't notice much of a difference because you won't be able to do a 478 Prescott 533 with HT. You are much better off upgrading to a 775 and 800FSB Prescott Core with HT!! Then you can run DDR 400 dual channel memory at 400Mhz! The system bus and memory, then, will be perfectly matched!
