Clearing the CMOS will certainly work on an older motherbaord. Either find the CMOS clear jumper or simply take out the system battery for say 10 minutes.

Your CMOS will be cleared and back to total default.

Gaara was right. I've done this many times on older PC's. It works everytime.
 
I even have some windows based CMOS killers ;)

Send me an AIM or MSN message if you want a windows based killer. Would work from an OS like ERD commander.
 
look on the MBD, there is usually a jumper section for reset, or password reset. Just make sure to put the jumper back in its normal config afterwards. Once you set the jumper it should say something like NVRAM cleared by jumper OR password reset by jumper. Turn it off and restart. It should prompt you to enter the bios after that.
