well I went to MS Update and found an update for my built-in video card, and restarted and it's work'n.....Thanks for the help.

Now the only thing is the sound is rather low, I have MC turned up all the way, system sound turned up all the way and my speakers are turned up almost all the way, just to have it at a decent listening level. any ideas on the sound problem?

did you double check if you have them hooked up correctly? If you play a song, does it sound right?

ya, they're hooked up right and media player is twice as loud as Media Center

what kind of sc do you have?

Sound Blaster Audigy plus the built in one.... but I'm hooked up to SB card

is the onboard disabled?

It souns like the audio is set in 2 channel stereo mode instead of 5.1
