Your talking about the X1600PRO, right?

It's a mid-ranged gaming card, so if your gaming I'd suggest you spend more. If your not gaming at all or using any graphic intensive apps, stick with a X1300 or X1300PRO.

I know the X1600XT is limited by 128-bit memory, so the pro can only be worse. The 6800GS is a much better option than the X1600pro. The only ATI cards worth buying are the X1300pro and anything from the X1900 series.

And the X1600pro also is limited to a slower mem speed, GDDR2 instead of 3.

Defintely go for the 6800GS.

im canadian in canada the 6800gs is 300$ up with tax and everything.. anyways is the X1600 PRO like a mid range card?? wat kind of card does it run like the 6600GT??

i think this 1600 PRO is worth it cuz in call of duty 2 the 6800 gs only gets a 4 FPS difference

What? I find that hard to believe. Look, we've given you the facts and our opinions, it up to you to decide now. If you can't shell out the $200 USD for a 6800GS, try for the $150 6600GT or 6800.
