so wut do u guys think? have i picked out parts that will work with eachother? i probably made mistakes, so plz correct any mistakes i have made. thanks for looking

Motherboard: ideal, dfi is pretty popular but i think this is fine
Processor: wow... thats nice
GFX: again, wow...
Power Supply: I would recommend upgrading to a higher quality if you spend this much on your system
Sound: This card is really for something like studio recording and such. you CAN get it, however it won't really improve sound quality that much compared to the standard x-fi
Hard Drive: with your system, you MUST upgrade your hdd to get the most our of your system... a 7200rpm hard drive will slow you down SOOOOOO much... go for a 10,000 rpm hard drive or even a 15,000 rpm hard drive. The more rpm, the better.
CD Burner: great
Case: great

all of your hardware is compatible, unless i missed something, but thats an amazing system if you ignore the price (or have the money).

Good luck!!

I'm assuming your budget is unlimited judging by this...

Get water cooling, or phase if you're daring.

Motherboard: DFI LanParty UT RDX200 Cross-Fire Socket 939
AMD Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813136165

RAM: OCZ Platinum Series with EB technology 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227225

Hard Drive: Seagate Cheetah 15,000RPM 147GB 3.5" SCSI Ultra320 68pin Hard Drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822111151

Hard Drive (Storage): Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822136014

PSU: PC Power & Cooling TURBO-COOL 850 SSI T85SSI 850W Power Supply
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817703002

God I hope this post is a joke judging by that case and PSU...

If you are prepared to spend that much, go with a better PSU and case.

Ive never heard of that motherboard brand before, might be safer to go with someone like ASUS or DFI.

As was said, that sound card is overkill. Get the extrememusic version and buy some nice speakers.

This PSU will do fine, cant go wrong with PC P&C. Might not have enough wattage though.

I agree with the Raptor hard drive. Get one. Get a 74GB raptor and a 250 GB storage drive.

You could probably wait a month for Nvidia's 7900 cards, which should kill the X1900 cards.

responding to 2nd poster. why would I get that power supply, its ugly, bulky, dosnt have lights, and the biggest thing. its like 6 times the price of the one i found. is there something wrong with mine? the video cards say they only need 450 watts, so isn't 580 more than enough? why would i get 850? the motherboard you found is nice, i think il get that one instead. and holy jesus that ram you found is like twice the price of the stuff i found, and there both 2gb ddr400!! is there a reason to spend that much? yes i know i picked out a cheaper casing but i am trying to save money wherever I can, this is very expensive. and are you out of your mind?? that first hard drive is over $1000!!! !! and its less space than the one I found??are you serious or are you joking?? and where do I fin these raptor hard drives? is that a brand? if the raptor is that $1100 hard drive then I cant get it.

I thought of this post as more of a joke because you in one place had absolute top of the line hardware, and in the next as terrible as it gets. That PC P&C PSU is top of the line. You need a good and reliable PSU for hardware like you listed. That one you have may say it has 580W, but it's extremely cheap and flashy, which usually means piece of crap. Also, that RAM I recommended is basically the best and great at overclocking. If you can afford the best CPU and 2 of the best GPUs, why not get some good RAM as well? And yeah, the HD suggestion was more of a joke. You had top of the line everything else, why not get a top of the line hard drive? The reason it's so expensive is because 15,000 RPM is insanely fast for a hard drive.

Now, if you want suggestions within your budget, you'll need to POST your budget.

After you post your budget, I can help you set up an optimal build.

Wow i like the idea but bad execution. first the mobo.ECS is kinda bad get this board:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813136152
DFI,MSI,Asus and gigabyte all make good motherboards along with Abit.

Next, the processor:That is the best cpu out right now but are you sure you really want it? You'd be fine for gaming with a cheaper and much simpler amd x2 4400:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103546

but it is your choice i mean if you have the money then get it but i am just showing a cheaper way to go. You will still get awesome performane with the x2 4400+.

Videocard:Do you really need two x1900's?lol. I mean just one x1900xt is as good as two 7800's in SLI. I suggest just getting one videocard. Just get the x1900xt. IF you do want twoo videpcrds though then i would reccomend getting two of these:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130265

PSU: lol ou expect to run to x1900's and an fx-60 all on a $30 psu..........you ar funny lol
:D

Get this antec makes the BEST psu's:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103931

sound is really good but why not just get a cheaper card for less than half the price:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16829102171

memory is fine and it will do good.

Hard drive looks good to me. I have seagate baracuda too.:D

DVD buner looks fine too.

Lol you are one funny guy. you want to get an x1900xt and a fx60(only the bets cpu out right now) and you want ot put it into a $14 dollar case rofl. just get somehting a little decent i mean if you are going to get an fx 60 minus well splurge on a good case:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129154

Overall thid=s is an awesome build but somehting tell me you aren't really going to buy this. You spen a lot on the processor and just get the cheapest 2 gig ram you see on newegg.com. Also you gte just an ok harddrive after having a cpu that costs $1000+. this system is too unbalanced. I would suggets going with the alternates i showed, unless you really have the momey and you knwo what you are doing. somehitg tells me though you just went on newegg and pciked out the most expenxive procesor and videocard and then just went along with it but who knows.

dude no offense but you sound liek the stupidest person right now. how can you say "I want to save money" when you r buying a freaking $1000 cpu and two $500 videocards man. Sicne that videocrad is like the bets one out why not just buy one of them and then use the other 500 dollars for a better case and btter psu and better and better hard drive. I said it once and i will say it again this system is way to unbalanced. A$14 case and a $1000 dollar cpu should NEVER EVER go in the same rig.:D

Dont get an FX-60. WAY overpriced. Its .2 GHz faster than the X2 4800, same core, same cache, same everything else, but $400 more. Get the X2 4800.

Here is a Raptor, they are made by Wester Digital.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144160
I would get that raptor and this drive to store all of your stuff on.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144701
Western digital is better than Maxtor.

Do NOT get that Powmax PSU, i would not trust $4k worth of equipment to a $30 PSU. Why would you care about how it looks if your case doesnt even have windows? If it dies, it takes your whole computer out with it. PC P&C makes the BEST PSU's out there.
If you really dont want to spend $400 on a PSU, then this is probably the next best bet.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16817711001

Get the X-fi extreme music, not the one you chose.

PS. Do some more research next time you want to build a computer, or anything for that matter, and you wont look like such an idiot.
