Yes. Try and get a 7800gt in that budget though and maybe a 3800 X2?

pretty good, and if you are not overclocking I would get an MSI board. If you are overclocking get dfi. Also, bf2 and other newer games benefit from 2gb of ram, so if you can afford it, get that as well.

definatly get the eVGA 7800gt if you can afford it and the 2gigs is a big difference over 1. And really if you want to play games in the future as well you are cutting your self short if you dont go with a dual core CPU like the AMD X2 series.

That would play BF2 perfectly find.!gb would run good enough with that 6800gs but if you get the 7800GT than I would get 2gb otherwhys just stay with what you got.
