WD Caviar 28400.....would it be compactable with Win XP?

I have an old computer with windows 98
I wiped out the hard drive with Killdisk

I was wondering if I could somehow configure it and fit it with my
Windows XP Home Edition SP2

the model number is
Western Digital WD Caviar 28400

If it is an ATA HD, then it will work.

Be sure to set the jumpers to "slave" and check the BIOS to make sure that your comp detected it.
