Hi, i'm really confused with all the next gen tech coming out. I was going to build a pc with a 7800gt, 2 gb of ram and an amd X2 4400 it seems like it would eat up everything i throw at it. But now the m2 is coming out and the g80, is it all worth it? Will X2's and 7800's be able to handle games for a while?
I've been saving up and i'm getting another $300 from my parents for my birthday in march so, i'll have about $1600-1700 AUS. I've been needing a new computer for ages but i'll wait till june for the g80 if its worth it.

I dont know much about the new socket yet but the only good thing i have heard so far is that it supports DDR2.. but im not even sure if DDR2 is useful with crap timings and when AMD uses HTT.

I have a X2 4400 and 7800GTX and i dont plan to upgrade for awhile, but who knows i may have to upgrade sonner then i want

I have a X2 4800+ with a 7800GTX and I'm pretty sure it will tear faces open for a while yet.

Yeah Im also building a high end system soon, and I hope It lasts a long time.
